Would just dump the game on "Loading Units" and I had to revert to a save that was luckily just a season earlier. I did run into an issue with a save game not loading. Maybe the only bottleneck to DF's FPS is the speed of communication to a CPU core and not the core's processing abilities. I am simply judging by the fact that the cores are not even at half load, but DF FPS are still lower than their possible max. I am beginning to think the core utilization is not the issue, but rather that DF is not utilizing the CPU as efficiently as it could. Along with various other apps across two monitors.
